How to Build Your List Using Adswaps

Building a list is pivotal to anyone marketing online.

In fact…

It is the bloodline of anyone who wants to make money online.

You’ve heard the saying a thousand times before: “The money is in the list.”

Gurus will tell you that for every subscriber you have on your list you should be making that much money a month.

So if you have 500 subscribers.

You should be making $500 a month.

Sounds all fine and dandy.

But: “How in the heck do you even build a list?!?!”

If you’ve been trying to build your list for anytime now, it can seem impossible without spending a whole lot of money.

So how do we build a list without spending a lot of money?

Reader… Meet ad swaps.

Ad swaps are were you and another list owner agree to mail your own list by promoting your partners offer.

The intent is that by doing this you can both build your own lists while hopefully making some money by promoting each others offers.

Now watch to see how this really gets interesting.

Say you decide to ad swap with a group of 10 other people who each have a list of 100 people within a months time.

Each will ad swap with one another.

If you can get convert 10% of people from every persons list that means you will now have an additional 100 subscribers at the end of the month.

But guess what?

So will everyone else.

If you continue to do an ad swap with additonal partners the next month, this time with a list of 200 and you still convert at 10% you will now DOUBLE your list again.

You can exponentially double your list easily by following this simple plan.

!But be forewarned!

If you mail your list too often you will tire your list.

They won’t open your emails as often because you are constantly pitching without providing value.

Build value first, promote second.

So be careful of pitching your list too often.

One of the main reasons people fail in in internet marketing is because they don’t have the knowledge on how to succeed. There are so many aspects of internet marketing or making money that it is hard to figure out the ‘right way to do everything.’

Here are just some of things an internet marketer has to think about: ppc, seo, article marketing, free traffic, paid traffic, list building, joint venture, podcasting, video, html, css, product creation, and the list goes on and on.

If you want traffic faster you are going to have to pay money. If you want the top of the line gadgets… again it costs money.

However….

You don’t need to spend a lot to make money on the internet.

In fact…

That’s one of the biggest reasons why internet marketing and making money online is so great.

It doesn’t cost you a lot to get started.

Reason for Failure #3- Time

Work, family, personal time, hanging out with friends; who has time to build a business? It seems very overwhelming.

But I have a system that will help you to build your business in no time.

Here’s how to build your business even in the littlest of time:

a) Make a list of all the different things you need to do in order to get your business off the ground. Break this list down into the smallest of tasks.

b) Now do one of those tasks a day (ONLY ONE!). It’s important to stick to only one. Each day it will build your confidence as you get closer to your goal of building a profitable business.

Reason for Failure #4- Fear

This is possibly the biggest reason for failure. But it all comes down to TAKING ACTION.

Action eliminates fear.

Take my tips for the previous reason for failure about time and start using it to take action.

You’ll be far down to the path of success in no time.

ZeekRewards- The Pro’s and Con’s- A Zeek Rewards Review

I am not an affiliate or marketer for zeekrewards. My intent for this article is to give you an honest review of zeekrewards so that you can weigh the pros and cons of joining this network marketing opportunity.

ZeekRewards is a network marketing opportunity that allows you to have your own retail store. You have the option of selling many different products and advertising with your own ads.

The Pros of ZeekRewards

Pro #1: Low Cost- Different Price Points

It seems a lot of the programs available with ZeekRewards are low cost and can fit any price budget.  You can decide when you would like to invest more in your own retail store, or when you would like to scale down.

Pro #2: Many Different Products to Choose From

Because you own your own retail store with ZeekRewards it means that you have more products to choose from to sell to your market. Products that may not appeal to one client will appeal to another client. This can be a strong benefit of this company as opposed to many others.

Pro #3: Profit Potential

The company seems to have the ability to let you set the parameters for your own involvement. You spend or advertise as much or as little as you would like. If you want to spend more, you have the opportunity to make more. But, it seems in order to be the most successful you have to spend a lot of money, which is a hesitation because a lot of people get into network marketing because they don’t have a lot of money.

The Con’s of ZeekRewards

Con #1- Hard to Understand

When I was doing research on the company I had a difficult time determining not only what ZeekRewards actually sells, but also the companies structure. It seems very complicated with the advertising, point system and different options involved. Although this could, be a benefit, it is also hard to understand.

If you’re considering joining ZeekRewards you are going to have to get over this obstacle when promoting the program to others. In my mind this is a large obstacle to overcome.

Con #2- Placing Ads

In order to receive sales on the program you need to place ads for your products. Again, going back to my previous point it is unclear on what control you have over these ads. How well do they convert? Are they visually pleasing to the eye?

Summary:

All in all ZeekRewards could be a good opportunity to invest in based on it’s low level cost and flexibilty to those who join. You can choose how involved you would like to be.

However, the BIGGEST drawback is how complicated the system seems to be. My rule of thumb is: If you can’t encapsulate your product in one sentence, it’s too complicated!

Communicating what ZeekRewards offers will be a challenge for any representative. But, if you have the money to try it out. Why not? You can set your own flexibility.

How to Make Money from a WordPress.com Blog-Making Money off a WordPress.com Blog?

A blogger recently was wondering in a forum how to make money from her blog off of wordpress.

Since I have a bit of experience in this area I decided I’d help her out and thought you could benefit from the answer.

She was also worried about transferring her site from wordpress.com to wordpress.org or vice versa.

Here’s my response:

When transferring all of your data I believe you need to back up your site. If I were you I would call the customer service department of whatever site you are hosting/going to host your site.(I personally use godaddy.com and have found them VERY helpful. They walk you through everything over the phone). I would try starting there to back up your site.

In regards to making money off of your site, I’m surprised you haven’t already been hit up by companies wanting text link ads. I get a few of these from a website I haven’t touched in almost a year. Maybe when you make the switch you will. Perhaps make your contact info a little easier for companies to get to you and you might have success in that area.

There are multiple ways to make money online. The easiest right away would probably be advertising. But in order to make more money I would suggest taking a look at affiliate advertising.

Once you’ve got the knack of affiliate advertising start making your OWN products to make the most money.
